Denise Richards Explains Charlie Sheen's Behavior To Her Daughters

It's no secret that Denise Richards' ex Charlie Sheen has had his share of troubles lately. Now the mom-of-three – who has daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, with Charlie and recently adopted a baby girl named Eloise – says her older girls needed to know what was causing the erratic behavior of their father. She decided to educate them on the dangers of addiction.
"I got a book to read to them," Denise said. "I was just lying to them about so much, and covering up things and totally lying. It was just getting too confusing that I had to sit down with them."
"It's too early for them to understand. I told them enough for them to make sense of things that were going on."
Denise also insisted that Charlie's recent behaviour - which has included alleged drink and drug binges and moving two porn star girlfriends into his home - is not typical of him and says she believes he will soon get back on track.
In a recent interview with Matt Lauer, Denise insisted that Charlie's very-public meltdown was not typical of the person she was once married to. "The man I fell in love with is very compassionate, humble, has a wonderful heart and the behavior that a lot of us saw in the last six months is not the person I met and fell in love with.
"Do I worry about him? Of course. He's the father of our children. [But] he's also a survivor. If anyone can pull themselves together, it's Charlie."
The actress also spoke about the new addition to her family, admitting her elder daughters are enjoying helping care for Eloise.
She added: "They are so excited and feel so blessed. They love feeding her and changing her. We're very happy."

Jessica Alba is getting ready for baby No. 2! The expectant mama appeared on The Tonight Show on Monday (July 25) and revealed that she's due “very, very soon.”
Already mom to 3-year-old daughter Honor with husband Cash Warren, Jess goes on to talk about her girlie girl.

"She loves to wear dress-up. I had to explain to her that only certain types of girls are allowed to wear plastic heels outdoors. She's allowed to only wear her princess plastic heels indoors."

The Valentine's Day star also tells Jay about her parenting style. “I’m definitely the disciplinarian,” she says. “I don’t believe in spankings, but when I was a kid I used to get hot sauce in my mouth when I had a smart mouth”
The soon-to-be mom-of-two isn't afraid to use timeouts with her pretty preschooler.

"Honor gets timeouts,” she says, adding that she uses threats sometimes. “I say, ‘You’re going to get a timeout out in the bathroom…with the lights off!’ Time out in the bathroom isn’t bad enough… it makes it seem that much worse [with the lights off]. We have a nice little chair that’s her size."

And apparently, Honor says the darndest things: "My girlfriend asked her, ‘Are you excited about being a big sister?’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, because I’m going to be a grownup, I’m going to drink vino and drive!’ So that’s what she thinks,” Jessica laughs. “We’re great examples as parents!”
When Jay asked about the baby's gender, Jessica says she knows and didn't deny it when he guessed another girl!
