On Monday morning, 4-month-old Seraphina went out with her nanny for a bit before joining mama and big sister Violet, 3, on an afternoon stroll around the park. Jen had her hands full as she pushed the stroller with one arm and toted Violet's tricycle in the other!

May 11, 2009-The Garflecks were then seen on Mother's Day in Boston. In the morning, Ben set out with Seraphina, 4 months, for a stroll. Then, the family was united for lunch in Ben's hometown.

April 2009-Jennifer Garner appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, where she explained how she and Ben Affleck - and their 3-year-old daughter Violet - decided on their new daughter Seraphina's name:
"Violet, ever since she figured out that I was pregnant, she said, 'Oh, that's Sara.' And we didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, so we were like, 'Well, we'll see.' We don't know where she came up with it, but she said 'Sara' consistently the whole time. We kept saying, Well, she's not going to name the kid, she's a baby! We'll decide, we'll figure it out.
So then the baby was born, still no name. She looked really angelic, so we started thinking of angel kinds of names. And then a week into it we hadn't decided so we just went with what Violet wanted. But Seraphina means 'little angel,' and the thing we liked about it is that it means 'angel' in every language."

One week after the birth of their second daughter, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have announced her name: Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.
Seraphina was born Jan. 6 in Los Angeles. She joins 3-year-old big sister Violet.
No explanation was offered for the unique name. One website specializing in the origin of names refers to Seraphina as "derived from the Biblical word 'seraphim,' which was Hebrew in origin and meant 'fiery ones.'"

Sometime in early to mid 2004, Garner started dating Daredevil co-star Ben Affleck and the two made their first public appearance as a couple by attending the Boston Red Sox's opening World Series games in October 2004.On Garner's 33rd birthday, Affleck proposed to her.Affleck married Garner, who was already three months pregnant at the time, on June 29, 2005 in a private ceremony, officiated by family friend at the Parrot Cay resort on the Turks and Caicos Islands. In December 2005, Garner gave birth to their first daughter, Violet Anne Affleck. The couple's second child, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, was born in January 2009.
