Britney Spears is at the center of a lawsuit filed yesterday (September 9) by her former bodyguard Fernando Flores. The ex-employee levels several charges against the singer, including sexual harassment, emotional distress and even allegations that she has physically abused her sons Sean Preston, 4 1/2 1, and Jayden James, 3 1/2.


Britney's camp has been quick to dismiss the shocking allegations, issuing a statement that reads in part, "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself. The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action."

Britney's ex Kevin Federline - dad to her two boys - has also come to her defense, telling the Associated Press today that Mr. Flores' "allegations are a product of economic motives...They are as baseless as they seem."
