 Maybe she was talking to her Top Gun papa? “I can tell you that I haven’t had a meeting with Tom that was not interrupted by a phone call with his daughter,” said Tom Cruise’s friend, screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie.

Tom Cruise: I Miss Suri

Although he’s one of the biggest movie stars of our time, Tom Cruise is living a lonely life, PEOPLE reports.
 Based in London since mid-August, where he is filming the sci-fi action flick All You Need Is Kill, the actor, 50, has not seen his 6-year-old daughter Suri for nearly two months. The pair were last spotted together in late July on a Walt Disney World vacation.
 An emotional Cruise – who is also dad to daughter Bella, 19, and son Connor, 17 – recently talked to a friend about missing his youngest daughter.
 “I’ve got to see her,” the Top Gun actor told a friend. “I miss her.”
 Several sources say that the Cruise’s rigorous film commitments – which he made prior to Katie Holmes‘ petition for divorce and sole custody – have presented a challenge in terms of seeing Suri.
 Suri is now attending Manhattan’s private Avenues school and has far less flexibility to visit her famous father on set than under her previous home-school arrangement. Several sources confirm that a planned visit to London in mid-September was cancelled.
 But Suri is sure to keep in touch.
 “I can tell you that I haven’t had a meeting with Tom that was not interrupted by a phone call with his daughter,” says Cruise’s friend, screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie.
